Synopsis of The Ten Commandments

The movie "The Ten Commandments" has an unshakable position in film history. It is based on the "Exodus" in the "Old Testament" and tells the life of the Jewish prophet Moses (played by Charlton Heston). After experiencing various hardships and tests, God Jehovah gave Moses the "Ten Commandments" and gave him strength. Moses led the suffering Hebrews out of Egypt and across the Red Sea to rebuild a new life. The 1956 epic film "The Ten Commandments" produced by Paramount Pictures and directed by Cecil B. DeMille, the director who created the golden age of Hollywood, won the 1957 29th Academy Awards for Best Sound Effects, Best Sound Effects, and Best Sound Effects. Nominated for editing, best costume design, best cinematography, best art direction, best film, and best special effects. This film is listed as a government collection by the National Film Preservation Bureau of the United States. It is a classic in film history that cannot be missed.
