I Can Hear the Sea

Synopsis of I Can Hear the Sea

In the summer of her sophomore year in high school, the beautiful girl Rikako Muto (voiced by Yoko Sakamoto) left the metropolis Tokyo with her mother and came to the quaint and quiet Kochi. The smart and beautiful Ligazi was so beautiful in this remote place that she attracted the love eyes of the boys, while her aloof character made the girls criticize her a lot. Her class monitor Matsuno Yutaka (played by Seki Toshihiko) secretly likes her, and Matsuno's friend Duzaki Taku (played by Tobita Nobuo) also seems to be paying close attention to Rikako. During the Golden Week, Rikako asked Taku to return to Tokyo together. For the first time, Takuya sensed the most fragile emotions in this seemingly cold girl's heart. They seem to be getting closer, and yet they seem to be further apart... This film is a TV movie, adapted from the original work by Saeko Himuro, and directed by Tomomitsu Mochizuki, who is good at pure love-themed animations. His representative works include "A Moment Together", "Orange Road", etc.
