Synopsis of Mixed Kebab

27-year-old Bram (played by Cem Akkanat) is a Turkish youth who grew up in the Belgian immigrant city of Antwerp. He has always concealed his sexual orientation from his conservative parents. He meets 19-year-old local boy Kevin (played by Simon Van Buyten) in a restaurant. Kevin's mother is a restaurant owner. She guessed her son's sexual orientation early on and accepted it openly. Bram's younger brother Fran (Lukas DeWolf) is overly impulsive and makes trouble on the street all day long, and has always been used as a negative teaching material by his family. When he discovered the secret that his brother liked men, he made a big deal about it, but was beaten by his father. In order to dispel the rumors, Bram's parents arranged for him to return to Turkey to marry his cousin Elif (Gamze Tazim). Bram invited Kevin to embark on a journey to find his roots, and the relationship between the two became increasingly inseparable. The cousin saw Bram as a springboard to Europe, while the resentful younger brother was influenced by Muslim fundamentalism and joined an extremist organization. Bram, who finally refused to live in a lie, chose to cancel the marriage and come out as gay. He was kicked out by his parents, and Fu Chan became the so-called "hope" of the family. But everyone doesn't know...
