Synopsis of The Little Things

Kern County Patrol Officer Joe Dickon, nicknamed Dick (played by Denzel Washington), was sent to Los Angeles on what should have been a simple and straightforward evidence collection mission. Instead, he is drawn into a hunt for a serial killer ravaging the city. Leading the arrest was Los Angeles County Sheriff Jim Bextor (Rami Malek), who was so impressed by Dick's police intuition that he privately sought his help. But as the two track down the main suspect, Albert Sparma (Jared Leto), Bexter is unaware that the investigation brings back unpleasant memories of Dick's past, and dark secrets are unearthed. In addition to threatening the investigation of the case, the implication may be more serious.
