Synopsis of The sound of war in barbarian countries

Trooper Hondo Lane encounters Angie Lowe, a woman living alone with her young son in the midst of hostile Apache territory. She seemed to feel safe under the protection of Apache chief Vittorio. Later, Lane gets into an argument with Angie's depraved husband and is forced to kill him without knowing who he really is. Vittorio captured Lane in order to save him, but Angie claimed to Vittorio that Lane was her "husband" at this time, but she didn't know that her real husband was killed by Lane.
