Infernal Affairs II 無間道II

Synopsis of Infernal Affairs II

In 1991, Ni Kun, the leader of the Hong Kong gang, was killed. Except for Han Chen (Eric Tsang), the five major bosses of the Ni family were all waiting for an opportunity to betray and launch a rebellion. Unexpectedly, they were killed by Ni Yongxiao (Francis Ng), the humble second generation of the Ni family. This move aroused the wariness of Inspector Huang Zhicheng (Anthony Wong), the originator of serious crimes, so he sent police school student Chen Yongren (Shawn Yue) to infiltrate the Ni family to conduct long-term undercover work. In order to consolidate his power, Han Chen had already placed himself within the police. The informant Liu Jianming (Edison Chen) was arrested. Three years later, Ni Yongxiao, whose career was booming, decided to eliminate the five leaders in one fell swoop in order to have peace of mind. However, due to negligence, Han Chen slipped through the net. In 1997, Han Chen, who survived the catastrophe, returned to the world to avenge his dead colleagues. Huang Zhicheng approached him to discuss cooperation in getting rid of Ni Yongxiao. However, he soon discovered that this move was a big mistake, and Chen, who was each troubled by their embarrassing identities, Yongren and Liu Jianming traveled further and further on the road to Infernal Affairs.
