Synopsis of The Yards

The story takes place in the bustling metropolis of New York. Leo (played by Mark Wahlberg) finally ended his prison life, was released from prison and returned to society. He no longer wants to clean up what he has suffered. I just want to cherish the little time left and be an ordinary person. Leo comes to work at a car factory run by his uncle Frank (James Caan). This car factory run by Leo's family for generations allows Leo to take off all his guards and be his true self. The reunion with friends Willy (Joaquin Phoenix), Erica (Charlize Theron) and others made Leo feel that he was getting closer and closer to his ideal life. However, contrary to expectations, a secret discovered by Leo accidentally made him the target of public criticism again, and this time, the enemies he had to face were his family members.
