Synopsis of Thieves Like Us

The story takes place in a labor camp in Mississippi. The murderer Bowers (Keith Carradine) and a group of desperadoes he met in prison carried out a prison escape. The god of luck favored them, and they succeeded in escaping. Bowers and his party came to a relative's house, intending to avoid the limelight. There, Bowles met a woman named Chi Chi (Shelley Duvall). Chi Chi's gentleness and kindness made Bowles fall in love at first sight. However, can Bowles, now a fugitive, really be like him? Do you want to hold the beauty back? After escaping from prison, Bowers and his brothers were unwilling to be left alone. They robbed several small robberies, and the "harvest" was acceptable, which made several grown men relax their vigilance. Finally, during another robbery, the robbers encountered "Waterloo".
