Synopsis of The Odd Couple

After his relationship with his wife broke up, newspaper writer Felix (played by Jack Lemmon) was kicked out of the house. In desperation, he had to temporarily move to the residence of his friend Oscar (played by Walter Matthau), and This good friend who has known each other for many years became a roommate. Oscar and Felix are polar opposites in terms of their personalities. The former has an eccentric style and is withdrawn and often makes a mess at home, while the latter is a good gentleman who likes cleaning and cooking. Although the two people in "living together" often quarreled over trivial matters, their lives were energized by each other's presence. A pair of sisters from England who lived next door gave them endless fantasies. Despite Oscar's strong opposition, Felix invited the two sisters to his home. Unexpectedly, the four of them got along well. When the situation was developing in the ideal direction, Oscar refused to continue even to death. Felix went crazy. Leakes is furious and the friendship between the two friends is in jeopardy.
