Synopsis of rage front

In a small town in Virginia in the 1920s, miners went on strike dissatisfied with their miserable treatment. The miners were dominated by white miners, Italian immigrants insisted on working in the mines, and black miners were regarded as scabs by white miners. Joe, a pacifist labor movement leader, came to this town, hoping to organize the workers and negotiate with the mine owners using peaceful, rational, and non-violent means. He succeeded in uniting whites and blacks, making them realize that unity is the most powerful weapon, but in the end he failed. His pacifist ideas could not fight reality, and he was hit by a bullet in the inevitable gun battle.
