Synopsis of The Paradine Case

Mrs. Paladin (Alida Valli) was accused of killing her husband. She hired a well-known lawyer named Anthony (Gregory Peck) to defend herself. As the relationship deepened, Anthony found that he had gradually fallen in love with the beautiful Lady Palatine. However, Anthony had already married the simple and kind-hearted wife Guy (Ann Todd). Every time he thought of his wife's face, Anthony's heart I felt extremely guilty. However, his fascination with Mrs. Palatine overcame Anthony's guilt. By chance, Anthony discovered that Mrs. Palatine's servant Andrew (Louis Jourdan) was the most suspicious. Although there was no conclusive evidence that Andrew was the murderer, the married woman Blaming Andrew is indeed the best way to get Mrs. Paladin off the hook.
