Synopsis of Boys on the Side
Robin (Mary-Louise Parker) suffered from an incurable disease and died soon. In order to escape reality, she decided to embark on a journey to Los Angeles. Jane (Whoopi Goldberg) has always wanted to be a singer, but never got the chance. By chance, Jane became Robin's driver and embarked on the journey with her. Holly (Drew Barrymore) is Jane's friend. After a dispute with her boyfriend, Holly accidentally injured him and accidentally caused her boyfriend's death. With a life on his back, Holly chose to fly away with Robin and his friends. During the bumpy journey, a solid friendship gradually developed between the three women. Robin got sicker and sicker, and luckily she wasn't alone when she reached the end of her life.
