Synopsis of Touch of the Light
Yuxiang (played by Huang Yuxiang), a boy with extraordinary musical talent, plays the piano well, but he is born blind. He insists on not participating in any competitions and just hopes to live a life like ordinary people. He left home for the first time to go north to study, and met Xiaojie (played by Zhang Rongrong), a girl who loves dancing but was forced to give up her dream for some reason. Yuxiang can "see" the beauty in the world that is not seen by others, and never gives up on this world. Like a ray of warm backlight into Hideo's cold heart, Hideo led Yuxiang on adventures he had never tried. Two souls that seem to never intersect have become each other's lost strength. The dazzling backlight behind the two people is warming and encouraging them to spread their wings and fly towards their dreams. This film is adapted from a true story, with the male protagonist Huang Yuxiang performing in his true colors. The heroine is played by Zhang Rongrong, a double-winner at the Taipei Film Festival and Asia Pacific Film Festival. The two continue the excellent tacit understanding of the previous film and interpret a journey of friends encouraging each other and bravely pursuing their dreams.
