Synopsis of Gangster No. 1

The film tells the story of the bloody gang feud in London in the 1960s from the first-person perspective of a gang boss (Malcolm McDowell). A little-known street gangster (Paul Bettany) was lucky enough to become a subordinate of Freddy (David Thewlis), the gangster boss who dominated London at the time. The luxurious life tempted him, and money and status fascinated him even more. Freddy seemed to have all the supreme rights, covering the sky with his hands wherever he went, enjoying everything he had. Not only that, Freddy's luxurious and tasteful life, crisp suits and elegant manners made the gangsters full of envy and jealousy. Gradually, this naked desire began to swell and deteriorate. When the conflicting gang forces began to clash, he even took the opportunity to take the position of the boss.
