Synopsis of American Me

Edward James O'Mont, who played the leader of the gang in the TV series "Miami Vice," made his directorial debut with this film about the life of a Mexican gang. The main character in the film is a teenager named Santana who grew up in Los Angeles. He formed a gang with two friends and was arrested for breaking and entering soon after.
