Synopsis of Labyrinth of Lies
West Germany in 1958, the postwar "economic miracle" era. The young Frankfurt court prosecutor Johann Radmann (played by Alexander Fehling) is responsible for handling public prosecution cases of traffic safety violations. By chance, he met Frankfurter Rundschau. A reporter (played by André Szymanski) loudly complained to a senior liberal arts middle school teacher in the work building because he was identified as the supervisor of the Auschwitz concentration camp, but was not punished. Living free from punishment. Then an impromptu investigation in the court office building allowed this young man born in 1930 to see that people after the war had forgotten and remained silent about the war, and that the younger generation in Germany knew nothing about it. Driven by the mission of justice, Radmann began to search for survivors of the Auschwitz concentration camp, allowing these people to serve as witnesses to accuse Nazi crimes and prosecute them.
