Synopsis of Land of Mine

The movie is adapted from real historical events. The story takes place after the end of World War II. Germany was defeated and a large number of captured German soldiers became prisoners. During the war, the German army planted more than 1.5 million landmines on the west coast of Denmark, and some of the captured young German soldiers were forced to become living mine detectors. Under the leadership of the Danish military officer Karl (Roland Møller), the prisoners who were just children began demining operations. They used their hands, feet, and even their lives to purify the long coastline step by step. . However, when the mission was over, when the surviving children thought with joy that they had finally escaped the clutches of death and could return to their hometown, what awaited them was another equally cruel mission.
