Synopsis of The Orphanage

Laura grew up in an orphanage. A large group of children played the game of "one, two, three, look back" every day, which was very friendly. Thirty years later, Laura, who was married and had a family, came to this long-abandoned orphanage on the coast again with her husband and son. In order to relive the warm memories of her childhood and help more orphans, they decided to rebuild it. However, the 7-year-old son Simon began to feel strange since he moved to this house. He imagined three non-existent children playing around. Laura and her husband were worried about their adopted son who also had AIDS. Laura's excessive worry disgusted her son. They never believed the authenticity of those hallucinations until one day Simon disappeared. After a nine-month investigation, Laura began to believe in the existence of ghosts, and discovered that the matter was related to a caregiver from her childhood. She settled down and played games with these "children", hoping to rescue Simon.
