Synopsis of Game Change

In 2008, U.S. Republican candidate McCain (Ed Harris) competed with Democratic candidate Obama for the 44th President of the United States. McCain, who was at a disadvantage in the election, followed the advice of his senior campaign adviser (Woody Harrelson) and other staff and decided to choose a woman as his vice presidential candidate to increase his competitiveness. After some screening, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (Julianne Moore) was successfully selected. However, after being elected, Palin frequently surprised the campaign team with her behavior and knowledge. Although Palin's performance has improved after many special trainings and even helped the campaign team achieve some impressive results, can Palin's joining turn the tide and change the fate of McCain's team? This film is adapted from the book of the same name released in 2010 and directed by Jay Roach, the director of "The Ballot", which was filmed in 2008 to recreate the 2000 US election.
