Ledcu discovered the touching story behind a local band during his travels. At his urging, Vinwenders led a photography team to Cuba in 1988 and began this famous shooting. He shot this film using documentary techniques, and as a result, this group of Cuban artists, who had long been forgotten and neglected, were mentioned again with the popularity of the film and the release of the album CD. Once the film came out, it was affirmed by the vast majority of people. In particular, it won 13 Best Documentary Awards at international film festivals, including the European Film Festival, Golden Globe Award,...
