Synopsis of Year of the Gun

The year 1978 is considered the Age of Terror in Italy. Rome was full of student demonstrations, and brutal political assassinations by Red Army elements were carried out day and night. American journalist David came to Rome as a tourist. Because he did not have a work permit, he worked for an American news agency with a low salary to find information to write a fictional novel about the Red Army. At a banquet, David met the beautiful and capable photojournalist Alishan. Ai found the manuscript of the novel in a secret compartment in David's apartment and thought it was a true report. She ignored David's explanation and resolutely went to investigate alone.
