Synopsis of Perhaps Love

When Sun Na (played by Zhou Xun), who wanted to act, and Lin Miandong (played by Takeshi Kaneshiro), who wanted to direct, first met, they were both at a low point in their lives and careers. Through mutual encouragement and support, they gradually developed a common ground. She could see a hopeful future, but Sun Na wanted to seize the present possibility even more, so she broke up with Lin Jiandong cruelly, and followed the director Nie Wen (Jacky Cheung) who could give her a role, and became a big star that everyone envied. As fate would have it, Sun Na and Lin Jiandong, who was also an actor, met again ten years later because of a co-production. Although he tried hard to convince himself to forget the past, he couldn't deceive his heart. Sun Na was in a dilemma. What's even more dramatic is that Sun Na, Lin Jiandong and Nie Wen are going to co-act in a play with a plot that is surprisingly similar to the love-hate entanglement between them.
