Synopsis of Benny's Video
This film is the second part of director Michael Haneke's "Glacier Trilogy". Teenager Benny (Arno Frisch) loves watching videos and even has a camera in his room. One day, he invited a strange girl (Ingrid Stassner) he met outside the video store to go home and watch the home videos he had shot. An accident occurred while playing with a homemade air gun. Ni killed the girl and recorded the incident. A few days later, Benny confessed his murder to his mother (Angela Winkler) and father (Ulrich Mühe), and they were shocked. The father decided to let his mother take Benny to travel to Egypt while he stayed to deal with the body. The question is, did Benny's crime just disappear? The film won the European Film Festival International Film Critics' Frisbee Award and was nominated for the European Film Best Film Award.
