Synopsis of The Ruins

Jeff (Jonathan Tucker) and Amy (Jena Malone), Eric (Shawn Ashmore) and Stacey (Laura Ramsey), two young lovers who came to Mexico from the United States, are preparing to enjoy their rare vacation. They met Matthias (played by Joe Anderson) from Germany and his Greek friend Dimitri (played by Dimitri Baveas) in the swimming pool. In order to find his missing brother, Mathias invited Amy and others to go together. The unscrupulous young people, bent on excitement, readily agreed. They rented a car and came to a desolate place in Mexico. Among the mysterious and ancient ruins, endless terror was quietly approaching them... The film is adapted from the novel "The Ruin" by American writer Scott Smith.
