Synopsis of The Long Day Closes

The camera focuses on a boy named Bud (Leigh McCormack). Bud lost his father very early and lived a life of dependence with his mother (Marjorie Yates) and his brother. Bud's entire childhood was shrouded in isolation and loneliness. In school, he went to class alone, was alone in a daze, and went home alone. He also had to be wary of the threats posed to him by the strong boys in the class. and ridicule. After returning home, Bud always stayed alone. His mother suggested that he play with his friends more, but what she didn't know was that Bud didn't even have a partner who could truly be called a friend. Bud spends his time observing and listening to the world and thinking wildly throughout the day. At night, terrible nightmares will come to his door. In this way, day after day, Bud grows up. How will Bud feel when he recalls this ordinary but unique childhood again?
