Synopsis of Make Way for Tomorrow
At a family gathering, the Coopers discover that their parents' house has been foreclosed on. Therefore, the mother temporarily lives with her son George, while the father moves in with his daughter Cora. The arrival of parents brings inconvenience to the children's originally regular life. Where will the old people end up? "Song of Tomorrow" is the sincere work of the famous American director Leo McCarey. It was included in the list of 75 neglected masterpieces in film history selected by the British "Sight and Sound" magazine. Leo McCarey, Lubitsch, and Sturges were the three most important comedy directors in the early days of American talkies.
