Synopsis of The Thing

In 1982, a three-person Antarctic scientific expedition team from Norway was traveling in the ice sheet and accidentally discovered a strange ship that was a million years old. They also found a mysterious creature frozen in the ice nearby. The talented and beautiful American paleontologist Kate Lloyd (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) went to Antarctica with a group of scientific researchers at the invitation of Dr. Sandor Halvorsen (Ulrich Thomsen). After careful study, they discovered that this was a creature that had never been seen on earth. While scientists were singing and dancing to celebrate this great discovery, mysterious creatures quietly thawed and then launched brutal attacks on humans. After a fierce struggle, the monster was finally killed in the sea of fire. But the bad luck did not end there. After observing the monster cells, Kate faintly felt that a disaster was coming to all mankind...
