Synopsis of The Thing

In the winter of 1982, a helicopter of the Norwegian scientific expedition team suddenly broke the peace of the Antarctic continent. The helicopter frantically chased a sled dog, and finally crashed near the American scientific research camp. The American scientific expedition team members had heard about the recent sudden drop in personnel of the Norwegian expedition team, so the pilot Mike (Kurt Russell) and the others rushed to the Norwegian camp. What they saw was strange corpses scattered everywhere in the dilapidated land, and there was evidence Showing that the Norse got some sort of creature in a state of ice. Doctor Blair (Wilford Brimley) studied the mutations of the corpse but could not explain the cause. That night, the dogs in the cages were attacked and mutated. An unknown creature was threatening the lives of the scientific expedition team members in this lonely Antarctic continent... This film is a remake of "The Thing From Another World" directed by Howard Hawks in 1951.
