Synopsis of Taking Off
Jenny (David Gittler)'s delay in returning makes her mother Ryan (Lynn Carlin) and father Larry (Buck Henry) very anxious. Larry and his friend Tony (Tony Harvey) decided to go out to search, while Ryan stayed at home and waited for news. Finally, Jenny is back. The angry Larry beat his daughter, which made Jenny so angry that she decided to run away from home. In desperation, Ryan and Larry once again embarked on a journey to find their daughter, and met Mrs. Loxton (Audra Lindley) who was also looking for a child. Under the introduction of Mrs. Loxton, Ryan and Larry joined the Child Search Association, but little did they know that the content of their gathering was actually for everyone to smoke marijuana together. In fact, Jenny has been staying with her boyfriend. Jenny's boyfriend is a musician with a bright future.
