Synopsis of The Kite Runner

In 2000, in California, the well-known Afghan writer Amir (played by Khalid Abdalla) received a phone call that took him back to his childhood... In Kabul, Afghanistan, 1978, Amir (played by Zekiria Ebrahimi) is a rich young master, and Hassan (played by Ahmad Khan Mahmoodzada), the son of servant Ali, is his loyal follower and playmate. The two participated in a traditional kite-fighting competition, and Amir experienced something he would never forget, and their fate changed accordingly: Ali and Hassan left Amir's home without any news; with the outbreak of the war in Afghanistan, Amir and his father Immigrated to the United States and started a new life. The call came from his father’s old friend Rahim (played by Khan Shaun Toub), hoping that Amir could go to Afghanistan to find Hassan’s son Sohrab (played by Ali Danish Bakhty Ari). What awaits Amir is not only the devastated hometown and the unbearable past, but also unspeakable things. ...
