Synopsis of Crip Camp

The story is set in the suburbs of Woodstock in the early 1970s. A summer camp for disabled youth that was about to be disbanded began a parallel transformation, kicking off the rights movement for the disabled, and forever changing the lives of young people and the history of the United States. . The film is directed by Jim LeBrecht and Nicole Newnham (the former is a student of the summer camp), who also serve as co-producers with Sara Bolder. The executive producer is Howard Gertler.
