Synopsis of Rising Phoenix

"Paralympic Spirit: Phoenix Soars" tells the extraordinary story of the Paralympic Games. From wounded soldiers of World War II to the world's third-largest sporting event, the Paralympics have inspired a global movement that continues to change the world's view of disability, diversity and human potential. Athletes featured in the film include Bebe Vio (Italy), Ellie Cole (Australia), Jean-Baptiste Alez (France), Matt Stutzman (USA), Joe Ni Peacock (UK), Cui Zhe (China), Riley Butt (Australia), Ntando Mahlangu (South Africa) and Tatyana McFadden (USA). "Paralympic Spirit: Soaring Phoenix" is directed by Ian Bonholt and Peter Adegay. Greg Nugent, John Bartsyk and Tatyana McFadden serve as producers. Richard Curtis, Barbara Broccoli, Barnaby Spurrier, Godric Smith, Dee Ryder, Xavier Gonzalez and Andrew Ruch Manchester United serves as executive producer of the film.
