Synopsis of Green Zone

In 2003, the Iraq War broke out. Saddam's government was severely damaged, and weapons of mass destruction (WMD) became a powerful excuse for the United States to send troops to Iraq. The team led by Roy Miller (Matt Damon) was ordered to search for WMD in Iraq. However, countless searches found nothing, which made Miller doubt the source of the tip. During a certain operation, he met Farhadi, a local one-legged man. From the other person's mouth, Miller learned that a group of key Iraqi figures were gathering somewhere. During the operation, he accidentally discovered Al Rahway (Al Rahway) on the poker wanted list. Yigal Naor) is also among them, and Al Rahway seems to have a complicated relationship with the US government. Miller launched an independent investigation despite dissuasion and found that the so-called WMD was just a lie that concealed countless ugly truths... The film is adapted from the work "Emperor Life in the Emerald City: Deep in Iraq's Green Zone" by Rajiv Chandrasekaran, a reporter for the Washington Post in Baghdad.
