Synopsis of Amy

Amy Winehouse, who had won seven Grammys, died of alcohol poisoning on July 23, 2011 at the age of 27. This documentary exposes some private images of Ai Mi's lifetime and hopes to uncover the truth behind the tragedy from Ai Mi's own point of view. Producer James Gay-Rees said: "Such a contemporary film can capture the spirit of the times and interpret the world we live in in a way that other films cannot." Amy Winehouse is considered one of the most outstanding female jazz singers of this era. In addition to her lazy and hoarse voice, she always wears a towering and disheveled beehive head, extremely exaggerated smoky makeup, and messy clothes. The revealing clothes attracted everyone's attention to her. Her songs seem to come from the bottom of the unfathomable heart, with a kind of bewitching magic. Sadly, however, Ai Mi has become a prisoner of his own success, media, emotion and lifestyle.
