Synopsis of The Stand-in Thief

The 29-year-old protagonist Hajime Ohuki (played by Ryuhei Maruyama) used to be a thief and is now a welder. The happy life of him and his lover came to an end after he accidentally met his former thief accomplice Norifu. He was threatened and sneaked into the mansion of a picture book writer to steal. In the process, Onuki was mistaken for the "owner of the mansion", "picture book writer" and "editor" by the people he met in the house.
