Synopsis of We Make Antiques

In the sunny Sakai City of Osaka Prefecture, Norio Koike (played by Nakai Kiichi), an antique businessman with a poor reputation in the industry, drove through the streets and alleys with his daughter Mari (played by Aoi Morikawa). Following the instructions of fate, he found a house and negotiated with the owner about the acquisition of antiques in the family collection. Among a bunch of imitations, Koike accidentally discovered a dream treasure that the tea ceremony master Sen no Rikyu gave to others before his death and which was not recorded in the history books. Koike was overjoyed, but at the same time he suppressed his excitement and prepared to pick up the leak, but he never expected to fall into the antique bureau set up by the impoverished potter Noda Sasuke (played by Kuranosuke Sasaki). As the saying goes, there is no acquaintance without fighting. These two men with somewhat similar destinies hit it off immediately and decided to work together to make a fortune from Rikyu's desperate treasure. Not only do they have to display their talents, but they also have to challenge the gangsters in the antique world...
