Synopsis of Night Fall
Twenty years ago, he was imprisoned for raping and murdering a young girl, Yi Yun. Wang Yuanyang (Nick Cheung), a repeat offender, suffered humiliation in prison and turned into a mute killer with a weird personality and feared by everyone. Having just been released from prison, he was involved in a tragic murder case: Xu Hanlin, a Chinese-British mixed-race conductor, was found dumped in the seaside wilderness, with his face completely disfigured and covered with bruises. Xu Hanlin was the father of the girl Yiyun. Detective Lam Ching-chung (played by Simon Yam), nicknamed the Angry Man, is determined to find out the truth.
