Synopsis of Apocalypto

At the end of the Mayan civilization, luxury and debauchery spread. In order to commemorate the newly completed pyramids and drive away the anger of the gods, the Mayan kingdom sent a powerful army to invade the weak tribes deep in the jungle, and killed the prisoners of war as sacrifices to the heavens. The young and brave warrior Tiger Claw (played by Rudy Youngblood) lives a peaceful life with his tribe. He has a lovely son and a beautiful wife, and will soon usher in a new life. But the Mayan army broke all this, and his tribe was attacked. Tiger Claw hid his wife and children in a deep pit in time, but he was accidentally captured. After a bumpy journey, he and other prisoners of war came to Maya City.
