Synopsis of The Philly Kid

Ten years ago, Dillon McCabe (Wes Chatham) was crowned the NCAA wrestling champion; on the same night, he was involved in the killing of a police officer and was sentenced to fifteen years in prison. Ten years later, Dillon is paroled and returns to a rough neighborhood near Baton Rouge, where he must return to his old life. And his best friend got into trouble because of loan sharking. In order to pay off his debt, Dillon must return to the wrestling ring and fighting competitions. But his fast and brutal fighting got him into more trouble. After winning three fierce battles, he discovered that his real opponent was this oppressive and corrupt system.
