Synopsis of Dope

Malcolm (Shameik Moore) is a high school student who is determined not to take an unusual path. His high-profile and extremely weird appearance often makes him a freak in the eyes of everyone, so he is bullied and isolated, and his life is very difficult. For Malcolm, being able to spend his last year of high school safely is his biggest wish. Malcolm secretly likes a beautiful girl named Nakia (Zoe Kravitz), but he is not even good enough for her, so he can only bury this feeling deep in his heart. One day, Malcolm learned that Nakia was going to a party hosted by a drug dealer, so he followed suit, but he was accidentally involved in the dark whirlpool of the drug trade and was helpless. To extricate himself, not only did he get killed, but he also had to live a troubled life of hiding in Tibet.
