Synopsis of Fido
One day in the near future, a massive cosmic radiation storm will sweep across the earth. Affected by radiation, the dead bodies in the underground scene resurrected one after another, turning into bloodthirsty and terrifying zombies. The bloody storm turned the earth into a hell on earth. After many years of struggle, humans gradually took the initiative and mastered the methods of destroying and controlling zombies. So a zombie company specializing in sales and rentals came into being. In Willard Town, the Robinson family finally became the last family to have zombie servants. The zombie named Fido takes good care of the pregnant Mrs. Robinson and helps the 11-year-old boy Timmy get rid of his classmates who bully him. Compared with Mr. Robinson, who is undisciplined and hates zombies, Fido seems to be the new owner of the family... The film won the Audience Award at the 2007 London-Canada Film Festival, the 2007 Vancouver Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress (Carrie-Anne Moss), the 2007 Directors Guild of Canada Award for Best Art Design, and the 2007 French Fantasy Film Festival Best Film Score. and the Jury Prize as well as the 2007 Leo Awards for Best Cinematography, Best Makeup, Best Score, Best Sound Effects and Best Visual Effects.
