Synopsis of The Big C Season 1
In school, Catherine (Laura Linney) is a respected history teacher. At home, she transforms into the backbone of the family, and the calm life gradually becomes a pressure on Catherine's heart. A burden, but the reason why she was so eager to change her life was not because of this, but because she found out that she had cancer, and Catherine decided to keep this as her secret. Whether it is Catherine's idle brother Sean (played by John Benjamin Hickey) or her husband Paul (played by Oliver Platt) who will never grow up, they have expressed doubts about Catherine's "ambitions". Fortunately, Catherine's doctor Todd (Reid Scott) has always firmly supported and encouraged Catherine. Cancer is currently, if there is a tomorrow, will tomorrow really be better?
