Synopsis of Paradox

Hong Kong police officer Li Zhongzhi (played by Louis Koo) learned that his daughter Zhi (played by Hannah Chan) was mysteriously missing while traveling in Thailand, so he went to Thailand to call the police for help. Cui Jie (played by Wu Yue), the Chinese detective in charge of the case, agreed to let him investigate together, but he did not expect that Li Zhongzhi would use the media to appeal to the public to provide clues. A clip that accidentally captured Chi being taken was uploaded to the police website, but was mysteriously deleted. Chui Kit and his friend and colleague Tak (Tony Jaa) set out to find the film owner. However, they encountered a mysterious man who destroyed the evidence. They met on a narrow road, pursued and fought with the man. Li Zhongzhi and Cui Jie gradually investigated, but found that there was a case within the case, and began to realize that the mysterious force behind the murderer was beyond their ability to deal with...
