Synopsis of Tabu: A Story of the South Seas

As the last part of the "Maori Trilogy" by documentary film master Flaherty (the previous two parts were "Moana" and "White Shadow of the South Sea"), the film eulogizes the undying love between life and death, truly and vividly It reflects the Maori people's struggle against superstition and hierarchy, has a distinctive recording style, and has been warmly welcomed.
