White Hunter, Black Heart

Synopsis of White Hunter, Black Heart

John Wilson is a talented but stubborn film director. He accepted the filming assignment of "Businessman in Africa" and prepared to go to Africa for location shooting. But what he really wanted to do was to go to Africa to hunt elephants. He ignored the many problems of filming and concentrated on collecting hunting weapons, and even included the cost into the film's budget. The young screenwriter Peter Verrier went to Africa with him. As soon as he arrived in Uganda, Wilson began to chase Margaret, a female guest in the same hotel. Margaret maliciously slandered Verrier as an anti-Semitic in front of Wilson. A "psychological battle" began between the two men. Wilson forced Verrier to overcome his "coward mentality" and go hunting elephants together, while Verrier begged him not to kill precious wild elephants. Wilson wanted to hunt the bull elephant despite the obstruction of other hunters, so he took the black hunter Kiwi away. Soon he asked someone to bring a message saying that he had found a better location in the village of Kiwi and asked the crew to rush there. When everything was ready to start filming, Wilson disappeared again. He and Kiwi went to hunt the bull elephant, causing Kiwi to die. At this time, the transmitter in the jungle sent out the message "White hunter, black heart", and he was punished...
