Synopsis of Hooligans

Harvard journalism student Matt (played by Elijah Wood) was expelled from the school because his roommate hid drugs in his closet. Helpless Matt was unable to contact his father in Kabul, so he had to pack up and go to his sister in London. Brother-in-law Steve had a very unfriendly attitude and gave Matt to his younger brother Pete (Charlie Hunnam). Pete is the leader of the West Ham United fans organization GSE. He quickly let the American Matt see the passion of British fans. The cowardice in Ted disappeared as he punched hostile fans, and Pete allowed him to gradually integrate into this environment full of beer and violence. GSE member Bao Wa is an extreme person and has always been hostile to Matt. When he discovered that Matt and Matt's father were related to the journalist identity that the fan organization hated most, he wanted to expel Matt at all costs.
