Blueberry

Synopsis of Blueberry

The story takes place in the 1770s. The girlfriend of American Marshall Michael Blueberry was killed by Willy Brault, and Willy also wanted to get the gold stored in the Indy claim. Marshall must try to stop him. At the same time, he also met a German villain named Prohid, who also tried every means to dig out gold from those mysterious mountains... In February 2004, young director Jean Gounan's "Blueberry" truly began the exploration of "French Westerns". This film is perhaps the most typical western film shot in France in the 1950s, and is adapted from the comic book series of the same name that began in the 1950s. Jean Gounan took the crew to almost all of Mexico to select the most suitable locations, including the beautiful scenery and endless deserts, steep cliffs and trickling water, weird and unpredictable western towns and alluring prostitutes. With lizards, pythons and white bones gradually exposed under the wind and sand, "Bluberry" presents a magical, ghostly and vast west, painted with supernaturalism. A revenge story, a strange book and an adventure become like a dream world here, just like the Western dream that the French have had for many years. There is no American West in the final ending...
