# Synopsis of The Quick and the Dead

The beautiful and mysterious girl Ellen (Sharon Stone) suddenly breaks into a small town full of violence in the western United States to seek revenge for an unbearable memory. Shortly after she arrived in the town, a priest named Kurt (Russell Crowe) also came to the town. At the same time, sharpshooters swarmed in from all directions. What makes them flock to it is a shooting competition with huge bonuses as bait. There is only one rule in the game, and that is to completely abide by the rules of the big devil Herod (Gene Hackman). Herod used this to collect large taxes from the townspeople. Not only that, Herod, who covers the sky with one hand and does all kinds of evil, wants to use this shooting competition to let the masters fight each other, so as to enjoy the benefits of the fishermen. There was no humanity at all in the brutal shooting competition. In the semifinals, Herold even killed his son Kidd (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) with his own hands. Finally, an exciting life-and-death duel began between Kurt and Herod.
