Synopsis of Attack Force Z

The film is set in the South Pacific battlefield of World War II and tells the story of some grievances and grudges between a US military rescue team and the Japanese army and local people. Mel appeared in his true colors, showing an amazingly calm, composed and wise performance, which fascinated countless Chinese movie fans. Other actors in the film include yet-to-be-famous Sam Neill and Taiwanese talented actress Sylvia Chang. In fact, the plot of the film is quite cliché, but it is the crisp and fast movements and the charm of the performers that attract viewers to stop. This film can be said to be a must-see for Mel fans.
