Synopsis of Paper Moon

Moses (Ryan O'Neal) is not a serious businessman. Even if he is in the business of selling Bibles, it does not stop him from using some unscrupulous methods. A car accident claimed the life of Moses' lover, and the little daughter Eddie (Tatum O'Neal) left behind by her lover became a burden to Moses. After asking the perpetrator for $200, Moses decided to send Eddie to her aunt's house. On the road, Eddie showed off her genius eloquence and sales skills, which made Moses make a fortune, and a real relationship developed between the fake father and daughter. However, the two got carried away and accidentally fell into a trap.
